MECHANICS/INTENSITY=SAFETY+RESULTS

CrossFit is a game of numbers. Bigger numbers for our weights for lifts, bigger numbers for rounds, and smaller numbers for those timed WODs. The beauty of Crossfit can be repeatedly seen in the numerous times that a seasoned crossfitter will help out a “newb” by answering many of their comment section questions about wods and exercises (often questions that can be easily answered by checking the FAQ, but that can of worms is for another day). W.O.W. Factor: Part 2a and 2b … or not 2b!

The first installment of the affiliate workout of the week (a.k.a. the W.O.W. Factor) had me “traveling” to Kopavogur, Iceland to tackle “Ingunn”. The next two workouts took me from Crossfit Sport and its Norse power, to Indianapolis, Indiana with its echoes of horsepower and then into the Great Plains of Pierre, South Dakota.
